Fern currently oversees a 20-person strategic planning team at The Mars Agency that includes account, engagement and digital strategists, and research and analytic specialists serving our core clients. Her passion for representing the voice and experience of real people has led her to also be responsible for thought leadership, developing white papers and the production of our weekly newsletter, Mars Talk.

Before joining The Mars Agency, Fern led the consumer insight team at LeapFrog Enterprises, responsible for all U.S. and International brand, product, shopper, advertising and all product and web user experience. Prior to that, Fern owned a research and planning company and served as a marketing research specialist, strategic planner and consultant with brands, manufacturers and retailers based in the U.S., U.K. and Europe.

Fern earned her bachelor’s degree in Honors Psychology from San Jose State University and master’s degree in Occupational Psychology from Birkbeck College, University of London.
