How we created the
first ever voice-powered
product selector on the Amazon Alexa platform.

Skincare is a complex category, with limited understanding
among shoppers about how best to treat their unique
issues/conditions, and an overwhelming sea of products
for them to choose from.
INSIGHT
Voice interfaces are fast becoming a preferred way for
consumers to access content, tools and information.
IDEA
Create Eucerin the first ever Voice-powered product selector on the Amazon Alexa platform. The application –or Skill, as it’s called in Amazon parlance –provides product recommendations based on users’ answers to simple questions about their personal skincare conditions, and also offers up actionable skincare tips & tricks. Additionally, we introduced a companion “Flash Briefing” Skill that enables users to include a skincare tip.
