Netflix understands that sometimes mass sharing makes for less sharing. Earlier this week, the company changed their features to allow subscribers that link their accounts to Facebook more control over who can see their viewing history. The company hopes this new, selective recommendation process will enhance the sharing process as well as the movie viewing experience, with more compelling, personal ways for users to find something to watch.
