New Year, New Hires

Heading into 2022 with a continued focus on growth, The Mars Agency is thrilled to announce the addition of 19 new Martians to the ever-growing talent pool across our many practices and offices.

Recent personnel activity also included one executive promotion: Jan Ferguson (at left) has been promoted to SVP/GM for Agency Services in Canada. During her tenure with The Mars Agency, Jan has consistently provided strategic leadership across all client groups, brought in new business, served as the agency’s go-to operations lead, and been a huge part of our ongoing success. She now will take responsibility for the day-to-day management and continued growth of the agency-services side of our Canadian operation.

The agency has grown with the following new employees:

The Mars Wrigley team continued to grow with the addition of Jesse Messerschmidt as Director of Project Management, Amani Brown as Senior Copywriter, Elaina Sussman as Senior Commerce Analyst, and Ben Ruggiero as Creative Director.

The Walmart Canada team has been strengthened with the recent hires of Mike Cannon (at right) as Design Director of Ecommerce, J. Scott Beaty as Director of Product Architecture, and Brandon Burns as Manager of Media Planning.

Our Operations teams have grown with Bianca Kaupp joining the Mars Wrigley and Beyond Meat businesses and Kim Wood returning to the agency on the Walmart Canada, Sanofi and Conn’s businesses.

The Campbell Soup Co. team has been further bolstered by the recent hires of Rachel Lutz as Project Manager on the Meat & Beverage business and Jennifer Shaw as Account Executive on the Canada business.

In other Client Leadership roles, Matt Soden joins as Senior Project Manager on the Bacardi and Bayer businesses, Hannah Fair as Senior Director of Client Leadership on Beyond Meat, and Kathlee Akers as Director of Client Operations across Conagra, Bacardi and Bayer. Elsewhere, Dina Perna was named Senior Commerce Analyst to work with Marilyn® client Keurig Dr. Pepper.

The Customer Development teams have grown with the hires of Emily Taylor (at right) as Director of Customer Development-Kroger for Conagra and Amy Veilleux as Senior Manager of Customer Development-Target for Henkel Beauty.

Finally, the agency’s internal Support Services have been strengthened through the addition of Amanda Dombroff as Accounts Payable Analyst on the Finance team and the return of Marty Smith as Associate Design Director on the Marilyn and Corporate Marketing teams.
